17 start-ups. 38 municipalities. WattWeiser is among them.

WattWeiser has been selected for the second round of the Agentic AI Hub and is testing WattOS together with the city of Schortens. Nearly 400 applications from municipalities, startups, and scale-ups were received for this round.

What is the Agentic AI Hub? The Hub is a joint practical workshop of the Federal Ministry for Digital and Economic Affairs (BMDS) and the DigitalService. It brings together AI companies and public administrations: solutions are tested on real-world tasks in everyday municipal life. The process examines what works and can be transferred to other municipalities.

For WattOS, this means: testing in Schortens, then developing further for other municipalities. With the support of the program, we want to develop WattOS so that as many municipalities as possible can benefit from it. Our goal is a reusable solution that can be adapted to local content and responsibilities.

WattOS – from request to the right action. The service portal is up and running. Yet the phone keeps ringing at the citizen service center. This is precisely where WattOS comes in as a digital companion.

Check: Is the information relevant to the request? Identify gaps and ambiguities.

Guidance: Citizens understand the next step and find the appropriate information, responsible authority or online service.

Improvement: Recurring obstacles show the administration where information and processes can be improved.

WattOS combines assistance with current requests with improved pathways for future citizens. The goal: fewer unnecessary inquiries and more time for personalized support. Applications and processes remain within existing portals and specialized procedures. The process remains with the individual.
